Annual Project: The 2026 MMM Annual Project is focused on building up the Christian Union Church of Papua New Guinea (CUC). CCCU began its ministry in PNG in 1964. Today, that vibrant and growing ministry includes 101 congregations, three schools, five health clinics, Christian Union Bible College, and more.
In recent years, God planted a vision in the hearts of CUC leaders to reach all of PNG with the Gospel. In just the last few years, new churches have been planted in seven new provinces, and CUC now ministers in 11 of PNG’s 22 provinces. The Gospel is being proclaimed, new Christians are being baptized and discipled, and new ministries are bursting forth!
A growing church requires growing infrastructure, including a place from which CUC leadership can base their operations. CUC, as a denomination, does not have a “home.” There is no central office that allows them to work together, hold meetings, train pastors and leaders, store records, or perform the many administrative tasks it takes to lead a growing church. CUC leaders have sacrificially used their own resources, and even their own homes, to facilitate CUC’s ministries.
CUC leaders have made the strategic decision to establish a new National Office in Tepe, Southern Highlands Province. Despite their limited resources, CUC has already purchased the land and started construction on their own. However, it is projected to take several years to raise sufficient funds to complete construction, and the National Office is needed now.
MMM has accepted the challenge to help complete the construction of CUC’s new National Office. This new office will provide much-needed space for ministry collaboration, training, and effective administration. We believe this new National Office is strategic to the further development and growth of CUC. Our 2026 Annual Project goal is will be announced soon.
